Our Story

Timeless beauty, crafted with care…

Our Story

Founded in 1971 in the New Hebrides, Vanuatu Bijouterie has evolved into one of the South Pacific’s most respected jewellery houses.

From its beginnings as a small atelier, the maison has grown into a rare expression of craftsmanship – where tradition is preserved, and refinement is shaped in-house. Since 2014, it stands apart as the only jewellery house in the region led by locally trained Melanesian artisans.

Each piece is created from carefully sourced materials: precious metals, Tahitian pearls, diamonds, and gemstones – selected for their character and integrity. The result is jewellery that reflects both place and precision.

Rooted in Vanuatu, yet shaped by a broader vision, the maison brings together French sophistication and Melanesian creativity in quiet balance.

Founder & Artistic Director

Estelle Milfirer leads the maison with a distinct vision shaped by Asian discipline, French artistic flair, and Melanesian expression.

Her work is guided by precision and intention – where material, form, and meaning are brought into quiet balance.

Presented internationally and recognised at the highest levels, her creations remain defined by a single principle: to be considered, enduring, and unmistakably of their origin.

The Atelier

A house of Vanuatu Master artisans.

Each piece is shaped by hand – guided by discipline, defined by precision, and grounded in tradition.

This is craft, in its purest form.
